This is a natural raw Green Cap Dark Green Tourmaline from Skardu, Gilgit−Baltistan, Pakistan.

This Pakistani Tourmaline is terminated with a flat top side, and it is semi triangular prismatic shaped with nice striations along its body. It looks like it has dark green almost black color at first glance, its true colors are revealed with backlighting or flashlight, it has a lighter shade green color at the top side like a cap, there is translucent darker olive brownish green colors along the midsection of its body, and its center base is opaque that looks like a phantom or Crystal within. There are some raw minerals attached along its body and some etched areas as well. It has several small chips, nicks, and dings, raw spots along its body, and its bottom side is raw rough.
